TeamYou for developers

Every way to build on TeamYou, in one place: connect an AI over MCP, call the REST API, or install the ty skill.

Connect an AI

  • MCP install

    /mcp/install

Per-client setup for the MCP server, with a one-line installer for coding agents.

  • Connect agents

    /connect

One page per supported AI app and agent: what it can do with TeamYou and how to connect it.

  • llms.txt

    /llms.txt

The agent-facing pointer file: endpoints, auth and install steps in plain text.

REST API

  • OpenAPI contract

    /api/external/v1/openapi.json

The OpenAPI 3.1 contract every API route, MCP tool and skill command is generated from. No key needed.

  • API reference

    /api/skill/files/references/api/overview.md

The human-readable reference generated from that contract, starting with auth, scopes and errors.

  • API keys

    /settings

Create and scope keys under External API Access in Settings. Signed out, you sign in first.

The ty skill and CLI

  • Skill install

    /api/skill/install

The install payload (JSON) for the TeamYou skill and its ty command-line tool.

  • Skill source

    github.com/starfoundrystudio/teamyou-skill

The public repository of every released skill version, tagged per release.

OAuth discovery

  • Authorization server metadata

    /.well-known/oauth-authorization-server

RFC 8414 metadata for the authorization server MCP clients sign in through.

  • Protected resource metadata

    /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp

RFC 9728 metadata for the MCP server: its authorization server and the scopes it supports.

Scopes

Every API key and OAuth grant carries a fixed set of scopes. The contract names the scope each operation requires.

  • readRead everything

View topics, details, projects, areas, tasks, Agent Drive documents, and settings.

  • knowledge:writeWrite knowledge

Create, edit, and delete topics, details, and connections.

  • agent-drive:writeWrite Agent Drive

Create, update, and delete the agent's Agent Drive documents.

  • work:writeWrite work items

Create, update, complete, and delete projects, areas, and tasks.

  • agent:writeManage automation

Configure heartbeat and scheduled actions, and send instructions to other agents.

  • shareShare on your behalf

Control who can open what you share: keep it private, share it by link, or open it to anyone signed in. Blocked for agents until you allow agent sharing in Settings.
