1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account.

Information You Provide

Content you add to TeamYou, including topics, todos, captures, asks, and preferences.

Google Calendar Data

With your permission, we access your Google Calendar to read events and create or modify events on your behalf. This includes event titles, times, descriptions, and attendee information.

Google Gmail Data

With your permission, we access Gmail to compose and send emails on your behalf and to manage email labels. We do not read your email except messages created or drafted by TeamYou. We access email subjects, recipients, and message content only as needed to perform the actions you request.

Google Drive Data

With your permission, we access Google Drive to manage files that TeamYou creates. We do not access files created outside of TeamYou.

Usage Data

We collect basic analytics about how you use TeamYou to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide TeamYou’s features: Your topics, chat history, and preferences power the AI-assisted knowledge management experience.
• Calendar integration: We read your calendar events to display them in TeamYou and help AI teammates suggest scheduling. We create events when you ask us to.
• Gmail integration: We send and compose emails when you initiate those actions through TeamYou’s AI teammates.
• Drive integration: We store and retrieve files that TeamYou creates on your behalf.
• AI processing: Content you interact with (including Google data when relevant to your request) is processed by AI language models to generate responses and insights.

We do not use your Google data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Google API Services — Limited Use Disclosure

TeamYou’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only use Google data to provide and improve user-facing features visible in TeamYou’s interface.
• We do not transfer Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide the features you use (e.g., AI processing), to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent.
• We do not use Google data for serving advertisements.
• We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you provide explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes, or it is required by law.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate TeamYou:

Some features may use additional AI language models accessed through Vercel AI Gateway. All AI providers process data solely to generate responses to your requests and do not use your data for model training under their API terms.

These services process data only as needed to provide TeamYou’s features and are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

5. Data Storage and Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption in transit).
• Data at rest is stored in encrypted databases.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized team members.
• Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and are revocable at any time through your Google Account settings.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
• You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email below.
• You can revoke TeamYou’s access to your Google data at any time through your Google Account permissions. When you revoke access, we stop accessing your Google data. Previously retrieved data is deleted within 30 days.
• When you disconnect a specific Google integration (Calendar, Gmail, or Drive) within TeamYou, we stop accessing that service and remove the associated tokens.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data and account
• Revoke Google API access at any time
• Export your data upon request

8. Children’s Privacy

TeamYou is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
