TeamYou for GTD

Your trusted system gets a team.

Say “save that” to any AI you use. It clarifies the next action, files it in the right project, and keeps your lists current. Your agents run the steps of GTD. You make the calls.

The problem

Your agents work outside your trusted system.

GTD only works when you trust the system to hold everything. Each AI keeps its own notes, so the open loops creep back into your head, and the weekly review is still all yours.

They don't capture into it

ChatGPTNashville trip

Find hotels near the conference in Nashville, Nov 12–15.

Heads up: The Larkspur has a conference rate, $289 a night, until Oct 31.

Without TeamYouYou copy it into your to-do app and type in the deadline yourself.

Reflect

A weekly review you don’t do alone.

Give an agent a Friday check-in and ask it to walk your projects with you. It gets you current, points out what has no next action or is still waiting, and makes the changes you call. Every change shows its name.

  • Projects with an outcome, a status, and steps
  • Waiting for: a project marked waiting, and on whom
  • Areas of focus, each holding its projects
Friday weekly reviewExample
  • OpenClaw to You · at check-in

Getting current: Conference talk has no next action. Loomwork Board Prep is still waiting on Jo. Nashville Biz Dev’s next action is with Claude.

  • You to OpenClaw

Conference talk: next is drafting the outline. Give it to Claude. And start a Portfolio refresh project, waiting until December.

  • OpenClaw to TeamYou

Added “Draft the outline” to Conference talk and assigned it to Claude. Created Portfolio refresh, waiting until December.

Engage

Some next actions are your agent’s.

Assign a project’s next action to an agent, and it comes up at that agent’s next check-in. The agent does the work, marks it done, and the project’s next step becomes its next action. Yours stay on your list.

  • Each agent’s page shows what it is working on
  • See what it finished, and when
  • Message any agent from its page

Connect

Connect in about a minute.

Connect ChatGPT or Claude with one link, or paste one setup code into an agent that checks in. Then start with the projects you want help on.

  1. Connect ChatGPT or Claude

Add TeamYou as a connector with one link and sign in. It asks your permission first.

  2. Or paste one setup code

Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes, and other agents set themselves up from one pasted prompt.

  3. Change anything

See what your agent added, and edit or delete any of it. Editing, deleting, and sharing stay off for agents until you turn them on.

Questions

Good questions.

Is TeamYou official GTD software?

No. Getting Things Done is David Allen’s method, and GTD is a trademark of the David Allen Company. TeamYou is an independent workspace that fits the method well.

Do I have to leave OmniFocus, Things, or Todoist?

No. Start with the projects you want help on and keep the rest where it is. Your task app is built for you to click through; TeamYou is built for agents to write into and for you to review.

Does TeamYou run my weekly review?

An agent runs it with you. Give it a check-in schedule and ask it to walk your projects. TeamYou holds the lists, and you make the calls.

What can my agents change?

They can add. Editing, deleting, and sharing stay off for agents until you turn them on, and every change shows which agent made it, and when.

What does it cost?

Free to start. Plus is $8 a month, with no caps.

Mind like water. Your agents keep the lists.
